Payment gateway
Card payments run through a UAE-ready gateway (provider confirmed at kickoff — e.g. Stripe, Network International, or Telr). Provider fees are billed by the gateway. Cash on delivery remains available for product orders.
Clear rules for the Enhanced Platform checkout, service deposits, and invoicing — so customers and the team know what happens at every step.

Product shop checkout is pay-in-full (or COD). Professional organising bookings default to a 25% deposit to secure the slot; customers may choose full payment. The balance is collected on the day of service.
Organising products follow the Exchange Policy (exchange-only, no cash refunds unless required by UAE consumer law). Service deposits are refundable if cancelled more than 24 hours before the appointment; within 24 hours a cancellation charge applies.
If a card payment fails, the order or booking is not confirmed. Customers see a clear retry path, may switch to COD (products) or try another card. No partial capture is taken on declined cards.
Services: free reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before. Inside 24 hours, up to 25% of the service fee (or the deposit, whichever is higher) may be retained. Products: see Exchange Policy for returns/exchanges.
Successful payments generate an invoice (VAT line included as advised by your accountant). Customers can download invoices from order confirmation, account order detail, and booking history.
Security: HTTPS everywhere, no raw card data stored on OBA servers (gateway-hosted fields). Demo checkout in this build does not charge real cards.
